Design guest rooms facing
the "Cité Médiévale" of Carcassonne

An exceptional location at Carcassonne.

Perched on a rocky hill between the vineyards you first notice the old wine-house built around a typical wine-shed. Then you notice the wooden building extension, with a walkway connecting the roof terraces to the higher garden. From the roof terraces with design furniture and surrounded by railing, we get the impression of a modern houseboat moored against the rock face of the micro-quarry.

Facing the medieval fortified city “La Cité” of Carcassonne

On the roof terraces we enjoy an unequalled 360° view as on a boat’s deck. To the North we overlook the Aude valley fringed by the shadows of the Montagne Noire culminating at the 1200m high “Pic de Nore”. To the East we see the woods of the Montlegun arboretum appearing as a green screen. South it appears as if we look at a rolling sea of vineyards producing the ‘Vins de la Cité’ and the ‘Malpère’ wines, majestically crowned by the Pyrenees wearing their white winter dress.
